Sword of Change Inc was founded by Montez Alford, inspired by her family's military legacy and a deep commitment to supporting veterans and their families. Understanding the unique challenges faced by military families, particularly in relation to PTSD, Montez established Sword of Change Inc to provide comprehensive support services.
Our mission is to offer a holistic approach to supporting veterans and their families, providing counseling, peer support groups, educational resources, family therapy, and evidence-based interventions. We create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where veterans and families can openly discuss their struggles and receive support tailored to their needs.
Based in Huntersville, North Carolina, Sword of Change Inc was established in a state with the 4th highest active duty military presence in the US. Our goal is to mend family bonds fractured by a veteran parent's PTSD, helping them heal together through counseling, education, and community support.
